College Football is Back

College Game DayWhen the calendar changes from July to August I always feel that twinge of excitement because I know college football is just around the corner. Saturdays are started off with ESPN College Game Day followed by the constant stream of announcers calling plays, fans questioning the calls, screaming and cheering for teams, and a general good time is had by all.

Since Sarasota is not home to a major university that has a football team,┬álocal fans who want to be with their fellow alumni head out to local establishments to gather in their favorite colors and cheer for their “Boys of Fall”.
